About a week after the fire, I was working on set on a commercial.  No one on set knew about my house, but I spent several days listening to actors and crew members discuss that “karma always gets the people who deserve it”.  I suppose you could say that karma got me.  Or you could also choose to believe that karma sometimes makes exceptions and burns down people’s houses at random. It's up to you.
